Women Heard: Flute & Guitar Duo

Woven Strands (Sophia Gibbs Kim-flute and Lynn McGrath-classical guitar) will share evocative performances and historical perspectives of the music of 20th and 21st century women composers in an innovative program interlacing solo and duets. Both are accomplished solo and chamber musicians who have toured on multiple continents and who met 7 years ago as colleagues at the Eastman Community Music School. This unique program will feature a curated collection of works by composers including Maria Luisa Anido, Clarice Assad, Elizabeth Brown, Katherine Hoover, Rhonda Larson, Ida Presti, and Liu Zhang.
